Hi I'm Mathew Martinez and I'm a songwriter who's been playing a variety of instruments since I could flail my hands across a keyboard. I grew up in San Fran but was born in the UK and is now where I have returned.

While I was in San Fran, I loved all sorts of sports, especially surfing. That's the big reason why I wanted to support Greenpeace because plastic pollution is becoming more of a problem, if not for the animals and wildlife, but for me while I'm out at sea.

I am light hearted, kind and funny, but that's defo up for debate.

I recently was signed to Sony Music which was such a privilege for me, and I only wish to create great music for you guys! My debut single The Lazy Song is something I've been brewing up for a while and I was so happy to see everyone liked it as much as I did. Either that or my mum is a real trooper for buying millions of copies...? Thanks Mum :)
